VIDEO: "High Fidelity" featuring "Rhinestone Eyes" by Gorillaz
Rob Gordon would be proud.
I had a few ideas for updates yesterday that didn't work out, some of which are just temporarily on the back burner til I have a day that isn't spent blowing plans on sleeping. With some new video ideas in mind that will take a little longer to do, I figure it's time to kick-out the first one I did that I had been sitting on for a little while.
If you know me, you might have heard of my slight obsession with High Fidelity (book > film, though the film is still one of the best novel adaptations I've seen and one of my favorites). This could have anything to do with the general nature of the events in the movie matching up to events of my life (though anyone who watches the movie or reads the book seems to similarly go through this anamoly) to the fact that it stars John Cusack (my hero!!).
If you've never seen it, it's about a record store owner recalling his top break-up list while trying to claw his way through the latest, and possibly most challenging & aggravating, break up. This was actually the first video of the first bunch done, but I sat around with it for exactly this scenario, plus it was my personal favorite so I had to hold off a bit til it was ready to see the light of day.
But enough of that. Without further ado, if you haven't seen the movie or read the book before, let's catch you up with "High Fidelity" featuring "Rhinestone Eyes" by Gorillaz, courtesy of Dizzle.
