It's Halloween Time! That means Clifton Park's House on Haunted Hill, presented by CPFunHouse.cjb.net

VIDEO: "Batman Begins" featuring "No Tomorrow" by The Blackouts

While the success of The Dark Knight seems like a no brainer today, without Batman Begins there would've been no Oscar-winning follow up. When initially released, Batman Begins was quiet among blockbuster releases out of the gate, hitting under $50 million which usually only guarantees crossing the $100 million dollar threshold. However, with a story crafted by filmmaker extraordinare Christopher Nolan, the film did manage a leggy run up to $200 million.

I had always been a fan of Batman, despite the fact that Jack Nicholson's Joker scared the shit out of me as a kid (along with Vigo from Ghostbusters 2) and despite an injury brought on by an attempt at flying with Batman pajamas featuring a velcro-on cape, I was ushered in by the Adam West era of Batman with my VHS copy of the movie occupying plenty of afternoons.

Bruce Wayne is a fucking NINJA.

I remember seeing Batman Begins the night it came out (I still remember my friends vetoing a pre-planned midnight release trip, those bastards!) and being stunned not only by how easily Taco Bell could be snuck into the theater, but also by how epic and grounded it was. Never before had I walked out of a theater from a movie close to 2 and a half hours thinking, "Man, I wish that awesomeness could keep going," but Batman beat the shit out of the vigilante that was my brain, and I was craving more.

Sure, it doesn't get the recognition that The Dark Knight does. But TDK is lacking something that Batman Begins has plenty of: Liam Nesson. Anyone who has seen Taken knows not to fuck with that guy. Not even Joker could handle him.

If this shit came out of nowhere at you, you know you'd shit your pants.

I remember sitting in the theater after the movie had been going for a good 45-minutes, after having been smacked around by the awesomeness of the opening, wondering how the movie could possibly get better. Shortly after, God showed up on screen in the form of Morgan Freeman.

If you plan on eventually catching the movie and still don't know about the twists of the plot, I recommend clicking out by the 3:15 mark so the finale can be all gift wrapped like Christmas morning for you upon viewing the full film.

So with that, it's time to light up the Batsignal as Dizzle presents to you Batman Begins, featuring the track "No Tomorrow" by The Blackouts, most famously featured in the film Waiting... But this is no time to wait: click below.
