BLOG #5

One week til Thanksgiving sure seems like a good time to end this lack-of-internet forced vacation from updating. Even if I haven't had the chance to throw together another video, I figured some kind of update to keep things flowing was in order, especially since I hadn't done a November blog yet. So we'll mix it up a bit with some bulletpoints and other recent highlights from the site.

-The attention we got for the Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan highlights video has topped over 1000 views and counting. To quote Eric Cartman, "Sweeeeeeet."

-More updates will be coming when time is a more available quantity as the big holiday shopping days (Thanksgiving & Black Friday) start to pass and my seasonal stocking job doesn't need me as much. Fun fact: Working a 40+ hour a week job takes up the equivalent time that throwing together highlight videos does. You might be able to figure out where I've been now.

-Though to be fair, after the monstrosity of awesome that resulted from crossing The Dark Knight with Tool, the extended brainstorming for "What's next?" is at least justified.

-I'm trying to figure out what awesome December holiday themed updates for the next month or so, while also bringing attention to the garbage I've put up that you may have skipped by the first time. In other words, you'll be browsing some archives soon if you haven't already.

-I'm willing to bet that the only reason Grosse Pointe Blank" doesn't get more modern recognition is because people don't like to remember when Jeremy Piven had no hair. Just a thought.

-New poll is up on the main page, or below for those who are too lazy to click one extra link. Help choose what we'll be known in the new year as by voting on what our dot-com domain name should be!

-Am I the only one who digs movies with Rick Moranis singing duets with a man-eating plant? Yes, "Rick Moranis", "singing", and "man-eating plant". The combination is as epic as it sounds.

-The Daily Dizzle is still in the planning stages for December, along with some other surprises to broaden our output for the year 2011, including exclusive webshows.

-Keep your eyes peeled for new highlight reels coming this month: Into The Wild, Constantine, Dawn of the Dead (2004). The last one might be a Thanksgiving update, so stay tuned! --Tommy Dizzle.
